German Drone Company Raises $22M And Expanding in North America

We all daily see various drone companies and drones but do you know that Wingcopter a german-based drone company has successfully raised $22 million in funding.  It is expected that the company will use this fund to expand in North America and strengthen its value in the market.

The company’s funding was carried by Futury Regio Groth fund and Xplorer Capital along with Hesen Capitals and Futury Ventures.  This $22 million funding will really help this company to grow and invest in new ideas. It is also expected that Wingcopter is also working hard on delivering covid vaccines through drones in rural areas.

Wingcopter 178 Heavy Lift (Company’s Lates drone) will soon join its companions. They are also investing some part of the funding in this drone to make it futuristic and it’s almost ready to go. Here’s what Tom Plümmer(CEO of Wingcopter) Shared:

Apart from that Wingcopter will also increase its manufacturing speed with  77,500-square-foot facility headquarters in Germany. Not only this they are also planning to start a production line. As discussed above Wingcopter will also US Facility for testing, manufacturing, certification, development, and stuff like that. This will also help the company to establish itself in the US with the “Made in USA” tag.
