Zipline Forms Partnership with Kenya: Expanding Medical Drone Delivery Across Africa

medical-drone-delivery

The year, 2022 would be the best year of expansion for the drone logistics company Zipline. We are surprised after getting news that the efficient and hardworking medical drone services providers had crossed Bayelsa State in Nigeria last week, but now that company declared that it would be landing in Kenya for the first time in history.

Instant logistics leader Ziline agreed with Kisumu County, a member of (LREB) the Lake Region Economic Bloc. In this agreement, it is decided that Zipline uses its warehousing facilities and autonomous aircraft technology for the storage and delivery of COVID-19 vaccines, blood-related products, and other types of medical supplies to provide health benefits and solutions within Kisumu county.

According to this agreement, a Zipline distribution hub will be started and operated in Kisumu County, where it will become and act as a base of the entire operations for the Zipline (UAS) unscrewed aerial system and its services that will introduce health safety projects and related facilities throughout 16 sixteen countries in Western Kenya. Where orders of various medical supplies will be made in the future, putting over 610000 citizens within minutes of the urgent situation of medical delivery.

Zips would have to cover the longest distance from the Kisumu hub will be Ogal Beach which is about twenty-five kilometers away, used to complete 160km round trips with no trouble on a day-to-day basis.

To support and follow the Zipline operations as well as its distribution hub, so many parties are willing to join and collaborate on such operational projects according to the standard operating procedures and provide medical services at a vast level including COVID-19 vaccination and other health services within a particular area zone.

GUARANTEED BY SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT FOR ZIPLINE:
